Over the past 26 years, Dr. Chaim Peri, the visionary director of Yemin Orde, has created an inspirational educational community. Yemin Orde is renowned for its unique philosophy and methodologies that have enabled thousands of youngsters to overcome childhood traumas and change their lives. Yemin Orde’s methodologies are now being adopted by other youth villages in Israel.
By endowing the position of the Director of Yemin Orde, you are furthering the ideals and goals of the Village, helping Yemin Orde’s transformational work to continue and evolve, and will have your name associated with the most prestigious position in the Village.
The Yemin Orde Computer Center Endowment Fund
$2 million ($400,000 a year for 5 years)
Yemin Orde’s Computer Center houses more than 100 computers, works closely with the high school to enhance the academic abilities and IT skills of the children, offers courses in Microsoft Office, computing and audio/visual programs, and is the hub of the Village’s computerized administrative network.
By endowing the Computer Center, you will ensure that Yemin Orde’s children have extensive access to technology and opportunities to develop the skills that are necessary to compete more effectively in today’s job markets.
Director of the Graduate Support Program
$1 million ($200,000 a year for 5 years)
The Director of Yemin Orde’s Graduate Support Program is responsible for providing assistance and resources to thousands of Yemin Orde graduates who live, work and study in Israel.
The Graduate Support Program and its Director are an anchor in the lives of Yemin Orde’s graduates throughout their military service, higher education careers, and beyond.
By endowing this position, you will ensure that a permanent source of counseling, networking, support and reassurance, will always be available to Yemin Orde’s graduates.
Director of the Yemin Orde Computer Center
$1 million ($200,000 a year for 5 years)
The Director of Yemin Orde’s Computer Center is responsible for meeting the academic requirements of the high school and maximizing the use of technology to provide the most up-to-date learning opportunities for Yemin Orde’s children. The Director is also responsible for maintaining and advancing the IT capacity of the Village.
By endowing this important position at the Village, you will ensure that Yemin Orde’s children always have the chance to acquire the IT skills that are necessary to participate effectively in today’s world.
Yemin Orde Counselors Endowment Funds
$500,000 ($100,000 a year for 5 years)
The Madrich (counselor) is the advisor, parent figure, and mentor to Yemin Orde’s children. In order to provide the necessary level of care that the children need, the Village employs 25 counselors to keep the ratio of counselors to children as low as possible.
An endowed counselor position at Yemin Orde would ensure that no child is ever overlooked at the Village, and that each child has someone in their lives who they trust and to whom they can turn whenever they need comfort and support.
The Village needs 12 counselor endowments.
Graduate House Maintenance Fund
$500,000 ($100,000 a year for 5 years)
The 65 bed Graduate “Home Away from Home” provides accommodation that is always available for Yemin Orde graduates. Many of Yemin Orde’s children have no family or other source of support in Israel and need somewhere to stay during their army service, weekends away from university, and during periods of crisis.
By endowing the Graduate House, you will ensure that Yemin Orde graduates will always have a comfortable place to stay and a welcoming home and support network.
