Friends of Yemin Orde, a 501(c) (3) organization located near the Van Ness Metro Station in Washington, DC, has immediate openings for interns.
Friends of Yemin Orde is responsible for fund raising, marketing, media outreach, volunteer coordination, grant writing, and foundation and federation relations in support of the programs and activities of Yemin Orde Youth Village and The Yemin Orde Communities in Israel.
Interns fulfill critical administrative and fund raising support roles while learning or increasing their experience in nonprofit management, fund raising, marketing and communication. The positions are year-round, part-time or full-time in a friendly, informal, international working environment.
Currently, interns are needed in the following areas:
- Jewish community and federation relations
- Nonprofit administrative support
- Travel planning and coordination
- Grant writing and Research
- Artwork, layout and graphic design
- Website maintenance
