International Projects
Dr. Chaim Peri and other staff of the Yemin Orde Initiatives are also working in a consulting and training capacity for international projects serving youth-at-risk.
One such project is the Agahozo Shalom Village - a Rwandan orphanage for victims of the 1994 genocide. The village is a special project of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and the Heyman-Merrin Family Foundation. Yemin Orde's philosophy will help form the conceptual framework and the Yemin Orde Initiatives is taking an advisory role in helping to train some of the staff, including Yemin Orde Ethiopian Israeli graduates.
