Challenge Grant
The Marcus Foundation in Atlanta has provided a 2:1 challenge grant for a pilot project to rejuvenate five youth villages throughout Israel. We are in the last year of the project and
still need $100,000 to complete the challenge by December 31. 2012.
The Marcus Foundation has invested $7.5 Million in Yemin Orde Educational Initiatives and is pleased with the successful outcomes. Over 400 educators working with over 2.000 children have been through an intensive process of training and internalizing the Village Way educational model and its applications, as developed at Yemim Orde Youth Village.
The infrastructure is now in place to create more sensitive, nurturing and empowering educational communities for youth-at-risk.
Friends of Yemin Orde has raised $3,650,000 towards the match. Please help us with the last $100,000 so we can meet the challenge. When you give now, every dollar is matched with an additional $2.
Donate now and earmark your gift to the Marcus Challenge.
