Friends of Yemin Orde Allocation of Expenses
Your support helps to close a $7,000 per child gap between Israel government assistance and actual costs to maintain the high quality education and activities for the 430 children at the Village. Friends of Yemin Orde provides direct funding for important programs such as music and art therapy, tutoring and mentoring, along with recreational and cultural activities at the Village that serve to enhance an at-risk child’s life. Chart at right illustrates the allocation of funds for 2017.
Your support also provides resources, training and workshops in 49 other youth villages, residential therapeutic communities and public high schools in Israel, including schools in Arab communities, that have incorporated the Village Way methodology through a partnership with Village Way Educational Initiatives.

Supplemental Gift Naming Opportunities Available
Now that recovery from the fire damage is complete, we are focusing on other capital needs which have been neglected for too long. In addition to an annual gift to the Village, we hope you will consider leaving a permanent mark by helping to build and renovate a number of Yemin Orde's buildings as well as help start new programs and help with equipment costs. For more information and to check availability of the naming opportunity, contact Karen Sallerson, Executive Director, at 202-237-0286 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. All monies received will be held in a restricted account to be used for construction. Pledges may be paid in one to five installments.
