antonAnton moved to Israel in 1996 from Belarus, part of the former Soviet Union, and arrived at Yemin Orde Youth Village without family, relatives or any knowledge of the Hebrew language. Three years later, he graduated from Yemin Orde with a firm grasp of Hebrew and confidence in himself as a new Israeli.

Anton served in a combat unit of the Israel Defense Forces and then pursued a career in graphic design and visual arts. In September 2012, he served as artist-in-residence at Denver’s Mizel Museum and had opportunity to bring the Yemin Orde story to the local community.

“I want to make the world better by showing my vision of life and how people can open themselves to nature,” Anton said.
