There are many ways you can help Israel’s at-risk youth have an excellent education and a bright future as productive citizens.
Your support will provide funding for important therapeutic programs and extra-curricular activities at Yemin Orde Youth Village. These programs serve to improve an at-risk youth’s life and provide hope for a bright future in Israel.
We invite you to visit Yemin Orde Youth Village. You can meet our inspiring youth, dedicated staff and take a tour of the Village. You will experience, first-hand, the jewel of Mt. Carmel. Simply let us know when you plan to stop by! Email email@example.com or call 202.237.0286.
Friends of Yemin Orde has a geographically diverse Board of Directors that meets twice a year (May and November) in New York City. Board members serve a term of three years and may serve a maximum of three consecutive terms.
There is a governance committee that reviews candidates that have been nominated by current board members. Potential candidates should have a deep passion for Israel and the care, well-being and education of at-risk immigrant youth as well as the ability/willingness to participate philanthropically to support Yemin Orde Youth Village and Village Way Educational Initiatives. In addition, there is a Board Observer program for young leaders aged 40 and under. Board Observers serve a two year term.
If you would like to learn more about the requirements needed to be considered for a position on the Board of Directors or as a Board Observer, please contact Karen Sallerson, Executive Director, at Karen@yeminorde.org.
